Shipping

We want to get our products into your hands as quickly and cost effectively as possible.  Generally, we ship via Canada Post, but we sometimes shop around, especially for international orders.  We typically ship within 2 business days, custom orders can take up to 5 business days. If it's important you get the package by a certain date, such as a birthday, let us know and we can find you the most cost effective delivery method.

Return Policy

Our goal is for our customers to be satisfied and proud to use our products.  If you receive an incorrect, incomplete, or damaged order please contact us immediately and we will work to remedy the problem.  If you need to cancel your order, please send us an email immediately, if it's still in our hands we can cancel the order and provide a full refund.

We accept returns on unused products up to 30 calendar days after the shipping date for a full refund. Please include all accessories and original packaging.  Canadian customers can ship it back via Canada post.  US and other International customers should ship back by the same method it was shipped to you.

Warranty Policy

We designed and built these products, so we know they are strong, durable, and built with quality.  However, sometimes things go wrong. Our warranty policy is intended to protect you from defects in materials used to make the products, workmanship, or any broken components under normal use.

If something goes wrong, we will first endeavor to fix it with new replacement components for free.  If we can't fix it we will replace it.  If a replacement isn't available, such as a discontinued product, we will provide a similar product from our line or provide a full refund.

Our warranty varies by product because of the inherent use cases of each:

Boreal Knife - 10 Year Warranty

Firesteel - 1 Year warranty

The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, scratches, dings, discolorations, stains, fraying for example.  It doesn't cover damage due to poor maintenance, such as not oiling the blade of our knives, or storing them in damp conditions.  We don't cover broken knife tips, Our warranty is void if the product is modified, lost or stolen.

If you have a warranty claim.  Simply email us at hello@oceancamp.cawith the following details before sending it in for repair. Include details of the damage and circumstances under which the damaged happened.

Once we have all the details, and approved the warranty we will give you instructions on how to send it to us.
